How do I back up my Lead10 data?

Guide

Go to Settings → Backup, tick the parts of your business you want (customers, leads, invoices, chats and so on) and click Create backup. Lead10 builds a ZIP file of spreadsheets in the background and tells you when it is ready; you download it after confirming your password. You can also have Lead10 send a backup to your own Google Drive or Dropbox automatically.

How do I restore my data from a backup?

Guide

In Settings → Backup, choose Restore from a backup and upload the backup file. Lead10 checks the file, shows what it holds and how much of it is already in your account, and lets you pick what to bring back. Nothing changes until you confirm with your password, and a copy of your current data is saved first.

Does Lead10 back up my data automatically?

Guide

Yes. Every night Lead10 backs up every account, encrypts the backup and stores it away from the servers your account runs on. We keep the last 5 nightly copies, 2 weekly and 3 monthly. If you ever need your whole account put back as it was on one of those dates, our team can do it for a one-time fee.

What is in a Lead10 backup file, and is it safe?

Guide

A ZIP file of spreadsheets (CSV), one for each kind of record you chose: customers, leads, invoices and their lines, conversations and so on. It never contains passwords, two-step codes, API keys or the connection details of your WhatsApp, email, ads or payment accounts. Downloading it needs your password, and you can lock the file with a password of its own.
