What is inside

  • One spreadsheet per kind of record, with plain column names such as "Customer name", "Invoice no." and "Assigned (email)". It opens in Excel or Google Sheets.

  • Records linked by their reference (an invoice number, a customer reference, a staff email), so the files make sense on their own.

  • Your custom fields, one column each, under the names you gave them.

What is never inside

  • Passwords and two-step codes

  • API keys, and the connection details of your WhatsApp, email, ad and payment accounts

  • Bank details of affiliates, and staff ID or passport numbers

  • Images and files: they stay in your Lead10 storage

How it is protected

  • Only admins with permission to manage backups can make, download or restore one.

  • Downloading asks for your account password, and your two-step code if you use one. Every backup, download and restore is recorded in the activity log.

  • You can lock the file with its own password. Keep that password safe: without it, nobody can open the file.

  • When automatic backups are switched on or sent somewhere new, every admin who manages backups is told.

Because the files are ordinary spreadsheets, treat a downloaded backup like any other confidential business file.
